INFORMATION REGARDING SUBJECT SELECTION:

Please be aware this is for indication purposes only and not a guarantee of your placement in a selected subject.

You are advised to consult the Curriculum Handbooks which is on our school website before you make your final subject selection.

Please read the notes regarding each year level before you select:

Year 9 students will study from eight learning areas as per the NZ Curriculum. The Arts, English , Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Health and Physical Education, Languages and Technology studies. Please select two subjects from each of these learning areas.

Year 10 students must study English, Mathematics, Physical Education/Health, Science, Social Studies AND must pick THREE ADDITIONAL subjects from the Year 10 selection.

Year 11 students will be placed in English and Mathematics courses appropriate to their level. Please select science and three other course from the Year 11 selection.

Year 12 students will be placed in an English or EAPS (English for Academic Purposes) appropriate to their needs. Students are required select 5 additional options from the Year 12 list.

Year 13 - Select five subjects from the list. You are advised to consult the Curriculum Handbook which is on our school website before you make your final subject selection.

  • confirm that where the student is under 10 years of age, the student will live with a parent or legal guardian in New Zealand while enrolled at a school, unless accommodated in a school hostel

The Contract of Enrolment includes provisions that:

  • allow the School to discipline the Student, including by expulsion, or to remove them from the School on health and welfare grounds;
  • control and limit the Student's rights of refund when Enrolment ends early;
  • require the Parents to make full disclosure of all relevant information; and
  • provide consent for the School to permit certain activities without further agreement from the Parents.
